ARM working for you

The jobs performed by people with disabilities in the employment programs that ARM Member agencies provide typically comes from work contracted between the agencies and businesses or government operations.

These employment programs are regulated by several federal, and state authorities that oversee the health, welfare, and personal rights of people with disabilities.  People working in these programs earn wages, and pay taxes all according to Dept. Of Labor standards.

The unemployment rate in the US for people with disabilities is understandably higher than non-disabled workers, but there’s a lot of room to grow opportunities for them.  That’s the mission of ARM and it’s Member agencies.  By working with an ARM Member agency to provide your organization with products or services you not only help yourself by partnering with a reliable supplier, but you help people with disabilities, and the US economy.
